Terms of Service
These terms of service are in effect from March 5th, 2022
1. Terms used
EMSP – Electric Mobility Service Provider.
EV – electric vehicle.
Service – provision of the SaaS product “OCPI Connector” and related services and functions, which include but are not limited to maintenance, training, consulting and Customer support. The service is provided by Pohdinto Oy for a fee or in some cases for free in accordance with these Terms of Use. Information about the price of the above mentioned services is available at www.ocpiguide.com.
Paid Services – the Services provided for a fee.
Instance – the customer specific instance of OCPI Connector. The access to the instance is limited to the individuals specified by the customer by creating personal accounts using the admin interface of the OCPI Connector. In addition, Company reserves the right to maintain access to the Instance for support and optimization purposes. Company is required to limit access to the relevant Company staff members and not access customer’s data in other than the above purpose.
OCPI Object – An object instance or type specified in the OCPI specification.
Customer – a natural or legal person who receives the Service. This may include individuals outside of the Customer’s organisation, if Customer so chooses.
User – an individual who uses the Service with permission from Customer.
Admin User – an individual designated by Customer to administer the Instance.
Company – Pohdinto Oy.
Support Staff or Company Support Staff – individuals working for Company and helping the Customer to succeed with OCPI.
Website – the website ocpiguide.com (or in some cases it resides at address ocpi.guide), where the OCPI Guide and information about OCPI, roaming, the Service, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy is maintained.
2. General
2.1. The Service is provided by Pohdinto Oy, registration number 2449980-3 (Finland).
2.2. Payments for the Service are processed by Stripe. The payment methods available can be checked at Stripe.com.
3. Using the OCPI Connector
3.1. Customers are obliged to read these terms and conditions and comply with them when starting to use the Service. By agreeing to these terms, the Customer is responsible for all actions, payment transactions and other obligations performed using the selected Payment Method.
3.2. User authentication takes place using Credentials at the OCPI Connector login page. Each User has specific access to each type and instance of OCPI Object. The access is specified by the Admin User or Company Support Staff. Access to OCPI Objects created outside of the OCPI Connector may be limited in some additional way.
3.3. User is responsible for keeping the Credentials secret and safe from others and for any harm or loss caused by their action or inaction.
3.4. Using the Service for any other purpose than the ones mentioned in 3.4. is prohibited. The Service is provided for the following purposes:
3.4.1 For the User to learn about OCPI
3.4.2 For the User to test their own OCPI implementation against the OCPI Connector
4. Working hours
4.1. Customer support and instantiating new OCPI Connectors may only be available during business hours 8-17 in the EET timezone. Services provided outside of these hours are based on a separate agreement.
5. Payment terms
5.1. The fee for the Service is charged monthly in advance according to the price list at www.ocpiguide.com.
5.2. Service is available as a monthly subscription. When consulting hours are purchased with the subscription, the subscription will be valid one month. The renewal needs to be done separately.
5.3. By using the Service, the Customer agrees to the specified Service fee.
6. Payment methods
7. Support
7.1. Information and technical support are available to Customers who are using the Paid Services on working days during 8-17 o’clock by e-mail at support@chargerhub.eu. At other times, the request is only accepted and answers are provided on the next business day.
7.1.1. Users of the free OCPI Connector will receive technical support based on the goodwill of the Support Staff.
7.2. User can receive information and assistance on:
7.2.1. Problems using the OCPI Connector;
7.2.2. other information related to the use of the Service.
7.3. User is responsible for his/her Internet connectivity to be able to reach the Service.
8. Communication
8.1. The Customer agrees that legally binding information and notices are sent to the e-mail address specified by the Customer in the agreement or mobile application. In case of changes in contact information (for example, name, surname, company details, address, e-mail address and payment details), immediately inform Company by e-mail info@chargerhub.eu.
8.2. If the Customer has not informed about the change of contact information, then legally binding notifications sent to the last known address are considered received.
9. Liability
9.1. Customer and User are responsible for any damages or losses occured with or without the influence of the Service.
9.2. The Company is not responsible for any damages or losses the Customer or User may suffer.
9.3. The Company maintains a best effort to keep the Service available to the Customer. Any problems or limitations with availability, performance or suitability to Customer’s needs do not result in liability for the Company. In case the Customer feels that the Service is not filling their needs, a refund may be applicable.
10. Changes to the Terms of Use
10.1. Changes or amendments to the Terms of Use shall take effect after their publication on the Website.
10.2. By continuing to use the Service, the Customer agrees to changes or amendments to these terms of use. If the Customer does not agree with the changes or amendments to the terms of use, then the Customer has the right to refuse to use the Service by informing about it by e-mail to info@chargerhub.eu. Within one week of receiving this notification, the Customer’s Instance will be removed.

11. GDPR compliance
11.1. The Service complies with the rules set by GDPR
11.2. The removal of user accounts and user information in the OCPI Connector is primarily the responsibility of the Admin User. If the Admin User cannot perform removals due to system limitations or other strong reason, Support Staff will remove user accounts and user information by the request of the Admin User.
11.3. By Customer request, Support Staff can remove the Instance completely.
